Hiring a professional script writer to report and do coverage on your script needn’t cost a fortune. My script coverage fees and prices are often cheaper than other more anonymous services.
If you hire me to do a script report, you’ll be getting notes from a BAFTA shortlisted and Royal Television Society nominated script writer, with credits on produced feature films as well as over 200 hours of broadcast TV, which includes award winning episodes of Eastenders and Emmerdale.
My in-depth screenplay analysis service will give you page by page, scene by scene notes highlighting the strengths of your screenplay as well as notes, ideas and suggestion on how to improve your script before it goes to market or production.
On top of the page by page notes and advice (and screenwriting lessons where needed) my reports also contain a ton of business aspects advice. The market for scripts – and the career progress of scriptwriters (in the UK and USA) works in a pretty set way. All my reports cover how to get an agent, and what agents want from new scriptwriters approaching them for representation (and believe me, a good script sample will get you in the door – but your attitude once you get a meeting with an agent, is just as important as your writing talent).
The reports are designed so that writers can get a report from me, go away and make changes and rewrite to elevate the script – but also that the report acts as a guide on the next steps of development as a scriptwriter – but also an industry professional – leaving the new writer armed with knowledge of how the business works in reality.
My fees are also rather affordable.
Script report and coverage prices are as follows:
- Short film script report £50
- TV drama up to one hour script report £80
- Feature film script report £120
