Scraw 2026 – Script Report and Coverage Awareness Week 2026

Script Report and Coverage Awareness Week (SCRAW) is a five day social media campaign promoting the usefulness of good qualified script report / coverage / feedback to new scriptwriters starting out.

SCRAW 2026 runs from Monday 23 Feb 2026 to Friday 27 of Feb 2026 and the campaign is organised by Matthew Cooper – who is a scriptwriter and script consultant – with credits as a scriptwriter on shows like EastEnders / Emmerdale and Hollyoaks – Matthew is BAFTA shortlisted and Royal Television Society Nominated as a scriptwriter with his first credit as scriptwriter on CH4 in 1994 (a short film starring a then unknown Ewan McGregor). Matthew was the youngest ever scriptwriter on the Emmerdale writing team (at age 27) On EastEnders he wrote the episode where ‘Alfie’ told ‘Kat’ he loved her for the fist time back in 2002 – 17 million viewers on that episode.

Matthew has sold screenplays to US majors – and was the winner of the first ever Lloyds Bank Ch4 Film Challenge and the first ever Oscar Moore Screenplay Award.
