Various bits of broadcast writing from over the years below – what other script consultant shows you stuff that he/she has written, that has been broadcast?

If you’re hiring a scriptwriter or script consultant you need to see WHAT THEY HAVE WRITTEN….seems obvious but…

FIRST OFF here’s my 2026 showreel – which shows clips from broadcast shows I’ve been a writer for – as well as clips from my own indie film projects as a scriptwriter and director (including some nice clips from the phenomenally successful indie movie ‘Sober’) and some of my zero budget horror movies. 

So check out the latest showreel first (directly below) – then under the showreel are some full episodes of Emmerdale with me as writer, and other credits (at least the ones I can find online, or have a personal copy of). 

So, below are some clips from my TV work (where I have been credited and I have written or rewritten stuff which doesn’t have my name on). 

Most of my EastEnders are episodes are only on iPlayer so I can’t share here, but there are a few clips I managed to find of famous bits from episodes I wrote… 

Emmerdale has loads of high quality eps of mine on its own YouTube Channel – I managed to find six or seven full complete episodes I wrote on there but there are more (I can’t be bothered search through lol). 

So, this doesn’t include films I’ve written, shorts I’ve written, adverts I’ve written, internal training videos I’ve written, charity videos I’ve written, animation I’ve written, corporate comedy or drama I’ve done scripts for, and rewritten, or feature length films (often theatrically released that I have rewritten or been a script consultant on – or films I’ve made myself like Sober…). 

It also doesn’t include the dozen or so feature film scripts I’ve sold (over the period between 2001 and 2014 I sold or had optioned at least seven feature length film scripts, that never got made).  Anyway, yada yada. 

Here’s a load of stuff with my name on that went on TV over the years (The Alfie and Kat Eastenders episode had 17 million viewers and was culturally a real touchstone at the time).  I wrote Emmerdale when it regularly had 14 – 15 million viewers for every single episode – nothing even like that happens today viewing figure wise….  

So – if you’re looking to hire a scriptwriter, a script consultant or hire anyone who claims to be experienced in writing for TV or film – ask them to provide a similar collection of clips – there really are very few genuine people with tons of experience (like me) available for hire.
