At the moment I’m working on a few really interesting projects. One, which I’ve talked about before is working with a producer on turning three novels into a trilogy of films. This is a big project and the work is exciting and interesting.
I’m also in the early stages of starting a horror script in collaboration with a client who found my services online. Being an experienced script writer for hire in the digital world means I’m never sure what projects will pop up next. I often get emails in the middle of the night from US producers looking for a quick rewrite on a sequence or two (sometimes they’ll even be in the middle of shooting the actual film).
I work quickly, to standard contracts and I’ve got great skills as a storyliner – which means I can often show potential clients what I’m going to do before an actual word of script is written – I can pin point potential problems in story. I pride myself on it.
