Thanks to the lovely people at Research & Innovation Centre | XPLOR – which is one of the leading virtual production centres in the world and part of the Film & TV, Virtual Production Skills Bootcamp | Academy of Live Technology – who train students on the latest cutting edge virtual production techniques – I managed to get myself on an intensive eight week training course on VP and I even got to use one of their stages to whip up a short student film (shot entirely in a few hours) which you can see below.

As the busiest UK script consultant and script writer for hire on the World Wide Web, I get a lot of rookie scriptwriters asking me about how to sell their feature film script. Well, let me tell you, that most scripts don’t sell–even the ones that get made–they get optioned. One of these opportunities is the Channel 4 Screenwriting Course which will be accepting entrees for next year from the 16th of September – but more importantly you’ll have until Monday 3rd October 2022 at 5.00 pm to get your submission in – and the submission means a writing sample which can be a screenplay for film or TV, or a stage or radio play.
