I’m Matthew Cooper, a TV and film script writer and story liner with over 20 years’ experience writing scripts and screenplays for all the UK broadcast networks. I’ve been BAFTA shortlisted and RTS nominated for my work on such shows as Emmerdale, Eastenders, Hollyoaks and Family Affairs.
I was winner of the first ever Lloyds Bank Channel Four Film Challenge and the Oscar Moore Screenwriting Award, I wrote Ewan McGregor’s first short film (which he used as a show reel) and I’ve worked with directors such as Justin Chadwick, Ian Bevitt, Jon Baird and Mitu Misra.
I’m one of the UK’s top script consultants and I work with producers and directors across the UK and USA on feature film scripts, online video content and TV scripts. With almost 200 hours of broadcast TV to my name I’m now available to work on video games as a script and story consultant.
