Trial Episode of Hollyoaks – written in the correct soap opera screenplay format

As the busiest UK script consultant and script writer for hire on the net I get asked about script formatting a lot (just use the correct software – some of the free software online is fine – see CELTX and Trelby).

I’ve written extensively for the soaps and occasionally I get asked about specific soap opera script formatting. Now, each soap uses Final Draft software, and then within Final Draft each soap will have their own template that they provide to writer.  But, I have found on old trial episode of ‘Hollyoaks’ I did many years ago which I’m happy to share for format junkies to take a look at.

So, here is my TRIAL EPISODE OF HOLLYOAKS (written in the correct format – all the way back in 2006)

I hope this proves useful to some of you.
