As the UK’s number one script writer for hire and UK script consultant, I had decided to shut up shop during the corona virus lockdown, down tools, and spend my time fiddling with my super 8mm cameras and doing test FX shots for my next project as a director, but, despite my best intentions loads of screenwriting work has come in.
I’m lucky I guess, and in a pretty unique position as a script writer that I can take my mind off the lockdown and continue business as usual as an in demand script writer for hire. As well as the normal script reports and consultancy work, I’ve picked a couple of pretty juicy original screenplay commissions, which will hopefully see fruition once the lockdown has ended and we return to what will be a new normal.
I’ve still a handful of ongoing original works to complete – one, an epic WW1 story, a taunt original thriller, and another original feature length script, set in the North of England, which I’m hoping we can finance privately, once things improve.
