Well, let me tell you, that most scripts don’t sell–even the ones that get made–they get optioned.  And in the UK–you’re not going to be able to make a living from having scripts optioned – in fact, you’ll be lucky if you can pay your rent for one month from the average option deal.

One of these opportunities is the Channel 4 Screenwriting Course which will be accepting entrees for next year from the 16th of September – but more importantly you’ll have until Monday 3rd October 2022 at 5.00 pm to get your submission in – and the submission means a writing sample which can be a screenplay for film or TV, or a stage or radio play.
